Plan Sets Include...
Exterior Elevations
Front, rear, left and right sides of the house. Shows materials, details and measurements ¼” scale.
Detailed Floor Plans
Show the layout of the house. Rooms and interior spaces are carefully dimensioned, windows and door sizes are noted. These plans show the location of kitchen appliances and bathroom fixtures.
Electrical Layout
Separate electrical plan, shows suggested locations for electrical fixtures and outlets.
Interior and Cabinet Elevations
These drawings show specific details and dimensions of cabinets in the kitchen, laundry room, and bathrooms. Also provides views of the fireplaces, bookcases, and built-in units.
Foundation Plans
Are to be supplied by licensed engineers. I provide the engineers with what’s needed so they can design the foundation, beams, and steel according to your new home design.
Typical Wall Section
Shows how the walls are constructed from footer to rafter. This section specifies the home’s construction, insulation, flooring and roofing details.
Building Sections
Important changes in floor, ceiling and roof heights or the relationship of one level to another are called out and illustrated.
General Notes/Details
This page provides, in more detail now to construct certain components of your home such as the roof system, stairs and deck.
Roof Plan
Shows the overall layout and necessary details for roof construction with structural sizes. If trusses are used, it is suggested that you work with your local truss manufacturer to design your trusses to comply with local codes.
